NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle is honored to auction jewelry from the Estate of June Marston Dyson. A pioneering woman in the legal profession, she was educated at the Brooklyn College of Law and was one of the first women lawyers at Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP, a firm established in 1854 and specializing in public finance. In addition to her legal career, Mrs. Dyson had a lifelong commitment to philanthropy and service. She was a Trustee Emeritus of the Museum of the City of New York and was the 11th president of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering, which serves Memorial Sloan Kettering through an array of activities that encompass patient care, research, and education.

Mrs. Dyson’s cultural philanthropies included The Metropolitan Opera, The Frick Collection, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The American Ballet Theatre and the Isaac Stern Society of Carnegie Hall. She was a decades-long member of The Colony Club and The Union Club in Manhattan. She was also an avid golfer and member of The Tuxedo Club, one of America's oldest country clubs.

Mrs. Dyson was married to the legendary financier and philanthropist Charles H. Dyson, who founded Dyson Kissner-Moran Corporation and the Dyson Foundation.
